Hey folks!
First, I've got good news for you - the COFSA hardcovers should reach me next week, and once they do, I'll get them signed and sent out! Thank you for being patient!
Also, if you're participating in the homebrewing #GenuineContest, please make sure you're putting that tag in the comments, rather than in your post title! Thank you for all of your hard work! I'll prepare a meta-thread to contain all of the current submissions and in-progress creations at the end of this month.
Today, I've got a preview of some of the new cleric domains that'll be coming to you in the Compendium of Sacred Mysteries: Resurrection.
Fate is one of those fun, weird, high-concept domains. I've tried to base it loosely around the Oracle of Delphi and other classical figures. This one has changed quite a bit since the previous version, but I think the intended use loop should be a bit more clear than it used to be. What do you think?
Next, we have the Desert domain. Egyptian deities like Set were part of the inspiration here, though I've tried to tie in the capstone feature, Endless Expanse, to modern ecological issues, though from the perspective of someone who views the environment as an extension of a particular deity rather than someone intent on preservation.
Finally, we have the Hunting domain. I think it's an essential domain to include because almost every classical pantheon of deities has at least one that can fit into this, and it provides a very different set of features. I'm particularly fond of it's Channel Divinity feature because of the ties to Gungir and similar weapons of legend.
Thank you for reading! I hope you've enjoyed this preview. If you have questions, comments, suggestions, or feedback you'd like to provide, please do so in the /r/UnearthedArcana thread.
Thanks!
